Elias Durnford Drawing

A View of the Entrance of the Harbour of the Havana, Taken From Within the Wrecks, drawn by Elias Durnford (1739-1794) and engraved by Peter Canot. It focuses on a battleship being towed by rowboats. A British engineer and surveyor, Durnford later served as lieutenant governor of the colony of British West Florida.
