John Stallworth

Tuscaloosa native John Stallworth (1952- ) was a standout wide receiver for the Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University (AAMU) football program prior to a 14-year NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers that earned him four Super Bowl rings. After retiring from football in 1987, Stallworth founded a successful research firm in Madison County and established a foundation in his name to provide scholarships to AAMU students.
