Reef Construction in Bayou La Batre
Concrete reef balls are installed off the coast of Bayou La Batre, Mobile County, in April 2010 to create habitat for oyster reefs and protect against erosion, part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Coastal Alabama Restoration project.
