W. C. Handy Cabin

Renowned "Father of the Blues" W. C. Handy was born in this cabin in Florence, Colbert County, in 1873. When the cabin was threatened by development, it was dismantled and reassembled on a new site, now the home of the W. C. Handy Home, Museum, and Library.
