Stephens and Elizabeth Croom
Cicero and Elizabeth Croom pose for a picture in Florida, ca. 1840s. Cicero, who went by his middle name Stephens, would become a soldier in the Confederate Army during the Civil War and practice law in Mobile until his death in 1884. Elizabeth became a critically acclaimed writer and educator.
