 Orfelia fultoni

Orfelia fultoni is a bioluminescent fly larvae, often called a "glow worm," that is found in southeastern United States. It has a "lantern" on each end of its wormlike body, one of which is shown here. These invertebrates are known as "dismalites" in Alabama because they are found in Dismals Canyon National Natural Landmark in Franklin County.
