Battlefield at Horseshoe Bend
An interpretive sign educates visitors to Horseshoe Bend in Tallapoosa County on the site of the final battle of the Creek War of 1813-1814, where Gen. Andrew Jackson defeated the Red Stick Creeks in March 1814.
