Knights of Labor Meeting

This engraving from the cover of October 16, 1886, issue of Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper depicts the annual convention of the Knights of Labor (KOL) in Richmond, Virginia. Alabama had among the most chapters of the KOL in the nation during the late-nineteenth century.
