Shotgun House at Old Alabama Town
This shotgun house, located on the grounds of Montgomery's Old Alabama Town, is so named for the arrangement of rooms one
behind the other, with all of the doors in the same place in each. Thus, it was said, that a shotgun fired in the front door
would shoot cleanly through the house and out the back door.
