William Meehan

William A. Meehan has served as president of Jacksonville State University (JSU) since 1999. He earned undergraduate and master's degrees from JSU before receiving a Ph.D. from the University of Alabama in 1999. Meehan's tenure has seen JSU expand its facilities and programming to include the Little River Canyon Center in Fort Payne and a branch campus in nearby Anniston.
