Brown-Hooded Cockroach

Brown-hooded cockroaches (Cryptocercus punctulatus) live in monogamous pairs and stake out a nesting territory in a rotting log, which is their primary food source. The pair feed their offspring for several months after hatching. They inhabit moist, forested areas and are related to termites.
