Wetumpka

Wetumpka is the county seat of Elmore County in central Alabama and is part of the greater Montgomery metropolitan area. The city's roots trace back to French colonialism in the early eighteenth century. Wetumpka's most famous feature is a five-mile wide crater created by a meteor impact more than 80 million years ago.
