Central-chimney or "Saddlebag" House in Tuscaloosa County

A central-chimney or "saddlebag" house, known as the Kuykendall house, located in Samantha, Tuscaloosa County. The structure was built ca. 1820 with half-dovetail and square corners, an unusual log house type for early Alabama.
