George "Wild Child" Butler

George "Wild Child" Butler (1936- ) grew up in Autaugaville and began playing the harmonica at a young age. He began recording blues songs in Montgomery in the mid-1960s and relocated to Chicago in 1966 where he began to gain recognition, recording for Mercury Records and Jewel Records. Butler moved to Ontario in the 1980's and continues to perform and record.
