Natchez Trace

The Natchez Trace was a Native American transportation route through what is now Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee, connecting the Tennessee and Mississippi Rivers. Today it is marked by a federal parkway that runs through Colbert and Lauderdale counties in northwestern Alabama.
