VE Day Celebration at ADDSCO
A Victory in Europe Day, or "VE Day," celebration at Alabama Dry Dock and Shipbuilding Company (ADDSCO) in Mobile in 1945 as World War II drew to a close. ADDSCO built and maintained ships for the U.S. Navy during the war, during which it was the city's largest employer.
