Historic Ritz Theatre in Talladega

Talladega's Art Deco Ritz Theatre was built in the 1930s and was originally opened as a "movie palace" named the Martin Theatre. Today, it plays host to numerous live performances, including musical groups and plays such as Hal Holbrook's one-man show “Mark Twain Tonight.”
