Blockade Runner Denbigh

The blockade runner Denbigh was built in 1860 by John Laird, Sons and Company of Birkenhead in Great Britain. The steam-powered ship was one of several ships that carried goods between Havana, Cuba, and the port of Mobile through the Federal blockade of Mobile Bay during the Civil War.
