This map by Indian agent Leonard Tarrant shows the Creek encampment and barricade (the Breast Work) at Horseshoe Bend and the positions of American forces, including the Thirty-ninth U.S. Infantry and East and West Tennessee Militia, and the Cherokees and members of Gen. John Coffee's brigade who were deployed along the river.
