Kathryn Tucker Windham

Storyteller and Selma native Kathryn Tucker Windham promoted Alabama's lifeways and folk traditions with her writings, photography, and radio commentaries. She was the author of more than 20 books, with many of them focusing on Alabama tales of the supernatural.
