Beth Chapman

Greenville native Beth Chapman (1962- ) has been Alabama's Secretary of State since January 2007. She served as appointments secretary under Gov. Forrest "Fob" James from 1995-96, as press secretary to Lt. Gov. Steve Windom from 2000-2001, and as state auditor from 2003-07.
