William Bradford Huie

Writer William Bradford Huie served in Germany during the Second World War as an aide to a vice admiral of the Seabees, the construction battalion of the U.S. Navy. Huie reported on the battalion's progress. His military experience provided him with much material for future fiction and nonfiction projects.
