Robert T. Pollard

Gainesville native Robert T. Pollard was a Baptist preacher and educator who served as president of Selma University from 1902-14 and 1916-30, presiding over the expansion of the campus, increases in enrollment and course offerings, and the elimination of the institution's debt.
