Lucy Baxley
Lucy Baxley (1937- ) served as lieutenant governor of Alabama from 2003-07—the first woman to hold the office in the state—and ran for governor against Bob Riley in 2006. Baxley has also served as state treasurer and as a delegate to the 1996 Democratic National Convention.
