Tennessee Valley Authority Video

The Tennessee Valley Authority was established in 1933, part of Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal initiatives. The damming project’s aims were to control flooding of the Tennessee River, provide electricity to northern Alabama, and ease navigation for river transportation.
