STRAL Catfish Harvesting 1966
The STRAL company, named for founders Chester Stephens, Richard True, and Bryant Allen (from letters of their last names),
became an early Alabama catfish industry pioneer in the 1960s when it opened a hatchery in Hale County with the assistance
of such organizations as the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station.
