Emmylou Harris (1947-) is a popular singer of folk, country, and rock music whose career has spanned four generations. She has been awarded 12 Grammies, and performed with such musical legends as Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash. Harris was born in Birmingham.
