Thomas Monroe Campbell
Thomas Monroe Campbell (1883-1956) was an agricultural educator who trained under scientist George Washington Carver at Tuskegee Institute in Macon County. The first agricultural extension agent in the U.S., his efforts led to the education of farmers in rural Alabama.
