Lottie Moon

Charlotte "Lottie" Digges Moon (1840-1912) was a Southern Baptist who spent almost 40 years teaching and evangelizing in China. The Christmas offering, an annual Woman's Missionary Union funding effort to support foreign missions, was named in Moon's honor.
