Lowndes County Interpretive Center

Lowndes County Interpretive Center in White Hall is dedicated to the memory of the protesters of the Selma to Montgomery March in March 1965 during the civil rights movement. Part of the Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail, the center opened August 2006 and is administrated by the National Park Service.
