Kirkwood is a Greek Revival mansion in Eutaw, Greene County. Cotton planter Foster M. Kirksey began construction on the home in 1857 but was unable to complete his vision of it by the outbreak of the Civil War. The Swayze family purchased the home in 1972 and completed extensive renovations 15 years later. They were awarded a National Trust for Historic Preservation Honor Award in 1982.
