Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament

The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, along with Our Lady of Angels Monastery, was built on 400 acres in Hanceville, near the eastern border of Cullman County. Construction of the shrine and monastery began in 1996, and the monastery was consecrated in December 1999. It is home to Mother Angelica, the founder of the Eternal World Television Network.
