Florence Indian Mound
The Florence Indian Mound, located on the banks of the Tennessee River, is the largest mound in the Tennessee Valley. Standing 42 feet tall with a summit measuring 149 x 94 feet, the mound is typical of those produced by Native Americans during the Mississippian period.
