Chambers County School

Lafayette Lanier School and Langdale Theatre, right, are located in the Langdale section of Valley, southeast Chambers County. The school was erected between 1934-37 and served as a high school until 1939, when present day Valley High School was built. The theatre was constructed in 1936 and was locally known as "the picture show."
