Birmingham- Shuttlesworth International Airport
The Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport is the state's largest airport. In 2005, the facility hosted 3.2 million passengers. It was renamed in honor of civil rights leader and Birmingham native Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth in 2008.
