Pickens County Courthouse

Pickensville was the Pickens County seat from 1820 until 1830, when it was moved to Carrollton. The first county courthouse burned down during the Civil War, and the second fell to an alleged acted of arson in 1876. The third courthouse, which still stands, was built in 1877. The court moved to its current facility in 1994.
