Carolyn Blount Theater

The Carolyn Blount Theater was christened in 1985 when the Alabama Shakespeare Festival moved to Montgomery from Anniston. Winton and Carolyn Blount financed the $21.5 million facility, which houses two stages: the 750-seat Festival Stage, and the 225-seat Octagon.
