Edgar Gardner Murphy

Edgar Gardner Murphy (1869-1913) was a progressive Episcopal priest who promoted social reforms in the South at the turn of the twentieth century. His work on child labor and education reform issues was centered in Alabama, but influenced changes throughout the United States.
