Clear Creek Falls

Clear Creek Falls near Jasper, Winston County, as it appeared before the construction of Lewis Smith Lake and Dam in 1961. The falls were part of a heated debate over conservation of the surrounding wildnerness, ending with the area being submerged under the lake.
