Construction magnate and philanthropist Winton Blount, shown here with his wife Carolyn, provided the funding for the Winton M. Blount Cultural Park, which is home to the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery in 1985.
