The Berman Museum of World History collections include hundreds of bronzes, including several by famed Western artist Frederic Remington. Remington traveled in the American West in the 1880s and witnessed the last years of free-ranging buffalo herds and conflicts between the U.S. Cavalry and Native American groups. These experiences led him to focus his art on capturing this fading way of life.
