Tommy Shaw and NASA Scientist

Tommy Shaw and fellow Styx bandmates view images of Pluto and its moons with astrophysicist Alan Stern of NASA's New Horizons spacecraft team. The band toured Johns Hopkins University's Applied Physics Laboratory and met with researchers, including Mark Showalter, who led the team that discovered this Pluto moon. It was named Styx, for the mythological Greek goddess of the underworld River Styx, under astronomical naming practices.
