Fred Leonard Blackmon (1873-1921) was a progressive Democratic politician who served in the Alabama State Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives from 1911 to 1921. He was instrumental in the expansion of the Fort McClellan military base in the Anniston, the Calhoun County.
