Hartselle New Deal Mural

This work by artist Ferol Sibley Warthen is a study for the mural in the Old Post Office 35640 in Hartselle, Morgan County. Created as part of Pres. Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal federal programs, this mural titled "Cotton Scene" (1941) is one of many aimed at adding public art to the nation's public buildings.
