Broadway and television star Rebecca Luker (1961-2020) poses before Reynolds Hall on the campus of the University of Montevallo (UM) in Shelby County. She was born and raised in the Birmingham area and graduated from UM. Her celebrated Broadway career included critically acclaimed leading roles in The Sound of Music, The Music Man, and Showboat.
