Author, journalist, and poet Wayne Greenhaw (1940-2011) is pictured here at the Southern Poverty Law Center Civil Rights Memorial in downtown Montgomery, Montgomery County. Hailing from Colbert County, Greenhaw spent much of his life in Alabama, and his work is strongly influenced by and often focused on the civil rights movement.
