Guest Room

The guest room at the First White House of the Confederacy was called the Cabinet Room, because many of the guests who stayed in it were members of Pres. Jefferson Davis's cabinet. The large custom bed was made by renowned New Orleans furniture maker Prudent Mallard and donated to the Davis family by the Lomax family of Montgomery.
