“Mercy Seat,” performed by Donald Smith and Doug Wyers and recorded by Anne Kimzey at the Little Hope Baptist Church in Eoline, Alabama, in 1994. It is one of numerous religious songs preserved in Benjamin Lloyd’s Primitive Hymns.
