Tallulah Bankhead at 16

Tallulah Bankhead (1902-1968), shown here at age 16, was born into a politically powerful Alabama family and became an internationally known actress and champion of civil rights. She was best known for her theater work, but she also starred in such Hollywood films as Alfred Hitchcock's Lifeboat, for which she was widely praised.
