The Fayette Art Museum in Fayette County displays the work of local artists such as renowned outsider artist Jimmy Lee Sudduth and visionary "found object" artist Lois Wilson. The museum was founded in 1969 and housed in Fayette's city hall until 1982, when it was moved to the Fayette Civic Center and Art Museum.
